Day Porter / Cleaning Team Member

About the Role

• You are the visible face of clean, safe and well-maintained commercial properties. You keep lobbies, washrooms, common areas and entrances spotless throughout the day, respond quickly to tenant requests, and make sure everything looks sharp when people arrive and leave.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• High-visibility cleaning in office buildings, retail centres and medical offices
• Quick response to spills, tenant requests and restocking
• Washroom checks, lobby touch-ups, entrance glass and floor care
• Light outdoor duties (emptying exterior bins, keeping walkways tidy)
• Occasional fill-in coverage for food-court or evening cleaning shifts when needed
• Work alongside the same small crew with clear daily checklists

What We Look For

• Strong reliability and pride in your work (showing up on time is everything)
• Comfortable being seen by tenants and the public
• Physical ability to be on your feet, lift bins and move quickly
• Clear English communication
• Previous cleaning or customer-facing experience is an asset – we train the right attitude

What You Get

• Starting wage $15.00 – $16.00 / hour
• Full extended health & dental benefits after 3 months (full-time only)

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced indoor commercial environments with some outdoor duties. Physically active role with plenty of walking, lifting up to 50 lbs and light bending/stretching.
